Songwriting Workshops
Alan Penman is one of Scotland's most respected composers for children and young people.
His songwriting workshops teach children how to write and record songs in a fun and inclusive way that encourages teamwork and creativity.
Alan uses a laptop studio to record the children singing their own song, and helps with the musical arrangements.
He mixes and masters their final recording, which the children keep as an mp3.
"I loved Alan's workshops as much as my class.
We looked forward to it every week and I thought Alan did an amazing job at harnessing the great ideas and tastes of my class! They were absolutely delighted with the finished product!"-
